Rootwise Ltd currently sources a high quality, soluble Calcium Lime product with a neutralising value of over 50% from a quarry in Malton, North Yorkshire.
Agricultural Lime is a soil additive made from pulverised limestone or chalk with the primary active component being Calcium Carbonate. Additional chemicals vary depending on the mineral source and may include Calcium Oxide, Magnesium Oxide and Magnesium Carbonate.
Be aware, cheaper course grade limes with lower solubility are available however they can be of inferior quality and can often be poor value.
